My name is Lucy

Hello, welcome to Lulu's Art Classes!

I am a professional artist from London with over 15 years experience as a sculptor and art teacher. I taught for several years at the Art Academy in London, have exhibited internationally and won awards for my work.

While I teach both adults and children, lulu's art classes is aimed for children and the focus is on having fun and experimenting. After many years working with children as an art teacher I aim to create an atmosphere of calm engagement, genuine interaction and enjoyment.

Research has now shown time and again the enormous benefits that creating art provides. For children especially it encourages the development of cognitive and motor skills, dexterity, problem solving and enhanced academic achievement. It also fosters self expression in safe ways while providing a sense of achievement that certainly boosts self esteem and confidence.
